The City of Tacoma issued a request for proposals from developers to develop 3 properties in Tacoma located in the Brewery district south of the University of Washington Tacoma Campus. In 2014 INNOVA was hired by a developer interested to purchase the property. INNOVA developed concept designs for the 3 properties for two of the properties existing buildings to be converted for use as retail and or mixed use spaces. The other property was designed to be used as multifamily housing development. The properties are located along the Tacoma prairie Line Trail system where the old Tacoma Rail line tracks are planned for conversion to a public trail system to be linked to the already completed prairie line trail system which runs through the University of Washington Tacoma Campus located 2 block north of this site. The design included a design for up to 400 units of housing and 57,000 SF of renovated existing space for new retain and office space.
