Paul McCormick was asked to design the Fed Ex Ground facility located in Fife, Washington which includes administration space, a cross dock facility and truck wash facilities. Special design features were necessary to create the vast amount of truck trailer parking on the site required by Fed Ex, and to do so with high security. The secured portion of the site is fenced and requires restricted access passes for employees to enter the turn style gates separating the outer parking lot from the inner secured area. Paul McCormick was Principal in Charge of this project, built in 2007, while he was CEO of AHBL.
