INVESTIGATION AND ANALYSIS
In 2001, ORB Architects, now part of INNOVA Architects, conducted a thorough investigation of the Fife Swim Center's indoor pool to identify potential wood decay in the pool structure. ORB found only minor wood decay in the walls of the structure and only a few isolated leaks in the roof sheathing. ORB recommended that the city continue to use and develop the existing pool and provided recommendations for updating the facility.

SWIM CENTER RENOVATIONS
In 2006, ORB was selected by the City of Fife Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department to help upgrade the Fife Swim Center in time for the City's 2007 Golden Jubilee Celebration. ORB provided architectural and engineering services for renovations and updates at the facility. The project includes a reconfiguration and expansion of the existing locker rooms and restrooms and remodeling and reconfiguring the lobby and entrance areas to the Fife Swim Center. The grand re-opening took place on Saturday, June 16, 2007.
